AAT Apprenticeship

Connie Shaw - Accounts Apprentice

Connie Shaw is one of Mitchells current AAT apprentices

Earn while you learn with an AAT Apprenticeship at Mitchells.

We recognise that university isn’t for everyone, that’s why we offer apprenticeships for young people who wish to undertake the AAT qualification – the internationally recognised qualification based on real-world accounting knowledge.

If you are successful in obtaining a place on the scheme you will become a full-time employee at Mitchells, with a salary and other associated benefits. We will even pay for you to attend college on a day release basis to study for the AAT qualification.

We want to help you grow and develop in your career with us, that’s why once you have completed the AAT qualification you will have the opportunity to continue your studies further with Mitchells to become a Chartered Accountant.

Holly Fleming is one of our current AAT Apprentices. She said: “I like that it is really hands on, it challenges me but there is also a lot of support and help around me to fall back on. It has a great work environment and has really given me a good insight on what path I need to take for the future.”

To be considered for an AAT Apprenticeship placement with Mitchells you will need to have good passes at GCSE and/or A-levels or equivalent, with a minimum of grades A-C in GCSE Maths and English.

We’re currently not recruiting for apprentices, however if you’re interested keep checking back here and when we are recruiting we’ll post details of who to send your CV to.
