Vacancy May 2012: Payroll Administrator and Tax Clerk

We are looking to recruit someone with extensive knowledge of processing on Sage Payroll Professional in our Payroll bureau. This is to cover for 12 months maternity leave.
You will need to be totally IT literate and as well as having the ability to use Sage Payroll efficiently, you should also have an understanding of PAYE legislation.
It is unlikely that you would have less than two years experience of working in a Payroll bureau and a friendly and professional telephone manner is essential as you will be dealing with our long standing clients.
Candidates should also have experience of processing online income tax return forms, as the present office holder helps process tax returns 2 days per week. However, although preference will be given to candidates with both skills, we will still consider those with only the payroll skills listed. The role will be full time for those with both skill sets, and part time for payroll only. The office environment is pleasant and you will be working in Chesterfield with another member of our Payroll bureau team. Hours are 0900 to 1715 each Monday and Tuesday and you would be required to cover for the other member when holidays and absences result.
Maternity leave will commence around early October however, we would like you in post by end July.
