Mi Life has worked with Mitchells Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers, following recommendation from a friend and colleague, since it was established in 2012 in Thurmaston, Leicester.

Here, Director of Mi Life Recruitment, Rahima Dakri, discusses how working with Mitchells benefits her business:

“Mitchells deal with all of my accounts. They provide me with a full accountancy service. But they are a lot more than just accountants for Mi Life Recruitment, they are also our business advisers.

My main contact is Adele Matijosiute, and I really appreciate all the work she puts into my business. Adele and Tony at Mitchells handle my management accounts, deliver monthly reports, handle tax returns and year-end statutory accounts.

Over the years however, Mitchells has helped me with more than just accountancy services. Whenever I have needed any extra advice or expertise, Mitchells has put me in touch with the right people so I know I’m in good hands.

Specifically, Mitchells has helped me with legal advice, HR issues and recruitment. I was having issues with a particular employee, and the team at Mitchells were immediately on hand to draft contracts, put procedures in place, and generally help me minimise and deal with the situation.”

What does the future look like for Mi Life Recruitment and Mitchells?

“I’d like to grow Mi Life Recruitment and continuing to work with Mitchells is central to that.

Alongside Mi Life I also have four other companies in operation and I am hoping to transfer all of my accounts over to Mitchells in the future. The other businesses accounts are currently looked after by a large, national accountancy firm. Whilst I and my business partners are happy with their service, they don’t have the personalisation that Mitchells offers.

After working with the team at Mitchells for more than three years now, I have built up a great working relationship with them. I know that Adele and Tony are always happy to come and visit me in Leicester when I need them to.

The additional services they’ve provided me with over the years, and the fact that they’ve always gone out of their way to help me, have made a real difference. I don’t just feel like I’m paying them for a service, I feel like they are a part of my team and I’m a part of theirs.
