Government funding is now available

Government funding is currently available in our area to help businesses during these troubled times. We want to ensure our clients get their hands on it and would urge you to contact Mitchells to look into how to apply for the funding and how it can be applied to provide practical assistance.

A grant of £1,500 is available to support a financial review of the business with a view to coming up with a plan to ensure profitable continuity of the business.  Mitchells and its business partners provide a variety of such financial reviews which should attract this funding.

Match funding is available up to an amount of £10,000, designed to support the development and future sustainable success of the business
The grant can support both revenue and capital projects. The revenue portion is to fund the cost of consultancy such as those offered by Mitchells.
Revenue grants can be provided for the following purposes:

  • Improving efficiency – implementing solutions to substantially improve business efficiency
  • Developing new markets – researching or assisting with the implementation of a move into a new market.
  • New product development – developing a product to sell to an existing market.
  • New technology development – developing or implementing a new technology;
  • Supply chain – improving the competitive nature of internal and external supply chains to maximise potential and minimise time / costs.
  • Training (non qualification based) – including management and leadership training to ensure the action plan for change is embedded.
